Why GPUs

Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) are specialised processors designed to handle massive parallel computations. Unlike traditional CPUs, which process tasks sequentially, GPUs contain thousands of cores that can execute operations simultaneously  making them essential for AI workloads.

AI inference speed with NVIDIA’s A100 GPU is up to 237 times faster than with traditional CPUs. This isn’t incremental improvement  it’s a categorical shift in what’s computationally possible.

As conventional CPU processing approaches the physical limits of silicon (the end of Moore’s Law), GPUs have become the primary processor for AI workloads. In 2025, GPUs accounted for nearly 89% of AI accelerator spending. There is no viable alternative at scale.
